Wine tasters love to talk about wine, and they often use terms and descriptions that can be a bit confusing or intimidating to beginners. "Winespeak," as wine writer Hugh Johnson refers to it, is not really all that esoteric once you know some of the descriptive terms, what they mean and how they are used in talking or writing about wine.
